Membership In LICBDC

  • See the members of our Board of Directors.

  •

As the business organization advocating for economic growth in LIC for decades, we have made an important contribution to the present success of the area.  We have made great strides in establishing a cohesive business community.  If you have a business or property here, you have already benefited from our efforts.  As a nonprofit group, and a membership organization, we are dependent upon the financial support of members and sponsors to maintain current staffing and service levels.

    Secondly, membership has its benefits.

      • Any employee of a member company can attend our events for reduced rates.
      • See a list of our past events.
      • Members can exhibit at our Annual Trade Show for a sharply reduced rate.
On November 14 over 2,500 attendees will meet 160 exhibitors. Save the date!
        See pictures of the show

      • Members can obtain on request our membership directory, with contact information for other member companies located in or doing business in LIC.  Anyone can see it – and all our members - online.
      • An annual promotional article about a member company's products or services will be published in one of our free email newsletters, received by thousands of business contacts.  Update your article when you send in your annual dues and we'll run it again.
      • Go to our Business Services page to find out our many services for LIC businesses.

Membership is annual, and must be renewed annually for benefits to remain in effect.

New members can fill out the membership application and return the completed form to us either by fax at 718.937.1799, postal mail or email to danminer@licbdc.org.  Sending a new application for renewing members is not necessary unless company's information has been changed.

    • Dues are based on total sales of transactions in or from Long Island City, and are based on the honor system. Dues start at $300 per year, or $150 for nonprofit organizations.
